Dr. Pan Lei attended the “Laser damage” XLVIII ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM ON OPTICAL MATERIALS FOR HIGH-POWER LASERS on 25-28, September, 2016 and gave an oral presentation of “Laser-induced damage in three-dimensional photonic crystals”in the symposium.  
  The symposium hosted by the SPIE, LASER DAMAGE, has been carried out for 48 years. It is the only International Conference on high energy laser damage, a comprehensive resource for the exchange of information on high-power/high-energy lasers.It brings together the world in almost all of the high-energy laser injury researchers and most of the latest research. Scientists and engineers continue research in these areas as well as materials and thin films, durability, properties modeling, testing, and component fabrication.
